include a day centre for children aged 6 months to 4 years each
Monday to Thursday. There is also a playgroup each Wednesday, Thursday
and Friday mornings for children aged 2 years 4 months to 5 years.
A drop-in group each Monday afternoon for children aged 1 year and
under. A drop-in group on Tuesday and Thursday morning and Wednesday
lunchtime for children aged 5 and under during school-term and children
aged 8 and under during the holidays. A summer scheme in August
for children aged 5 to 12 years. A parents group each Thursday morning.
Services can be accessed direct, apart from the day-care service
where users must be referred by Social Services and an allocation
panel. For all other services priority has to be given to social
work referrals as Newham Social Services contributes the majority
of the funding to the project. |
